You know, I was watching Best Week Ever on VH1 a couple days ago and I heard that at Stanford... was it Stanford? I think it was... anyway... they said at this school that they were offering a class on Lil Kim and her music...

Now I like Kim. Love Kim actually, but I'm not about to sit in an hour lecture trying to critique Hard Core or Notorious KIM. I never knew it was that deep. Since when did lyrics like "I used to be scared of the dick/now I throw lips to the shit/handle it like a real bitch/ Heather Hunter, Janet Jacme/ Take it in the buns/ Yeah, yeah, what" need explaination?

Some things are just a waste of time. And exactly what porno star do they have teaching the class? Come on, can you really see some tenured professor up at a podium talking about "Let's discuss "U Can't Fuck Wit Queen Bee" from La Bella Mafia"? I don't know, maybe it's just me....

Did people take the Tupac class and run with it?

And another couple questions. Who is gonna take that class? Is it part of the core or is it some elective bullshit? Help me understand. How many credit hours is it worth? Is the final exam showing up with a lavender pasty on your left nipple and getting felt up by Diana Ross?
